Bunting, it’s been used a lot and for good reason.  It can be fun and whimsical, bring in many different colours and styles and it’s also a way to add a celebratory note to a large space.  Today’s blog post I’d like to share a couple of new photos of items from my bunting wedding stationery collection.  One to represent our bunting wedding invitations and the other the day stationery.  With a great degree of imagination I called the collection Bunting!  Like all of my stationery it’s bespoke and so tailored to each individual customer.  In the case of this collection that means all the flags are tailored to your requirements.  You can have polka dots, gingham, hearts, plain, stripes, national flags, letters and probably more.

So to the items I have to show you today.  The first is a place-name.  The place-name shown here uses more of an art deco/art nouveau period font that I think brings real character.  I’ve also used polka dot flags with this design just to showcase them a little.  Not that polka dots in themselves are amazingly 1920’s!  But nothing wrong with being eclectic and going with what you like.  It also features hearts and letters.  This photo also shows the texture of the card printed on really well.  It’s a soft texture and is made to be printed on so unlike some textured card you may see won’t interfere with the quality of the print.  This material is actually made for fine art reproduction and photographers.

Bunting Wedding Invitations

The second item is a booklet invitation.  It’s in purple and yellow.  It features a hand drawn style of font for a modern look to contrast the vintage overtones that bunting can have.  The card used in this sample is from eco-craft which gives some different colour choices to the Canford card normally used (made by Daler Rowney).  The flags are a mix of purple gingham style flags and plain flags some of which have letters on representing the Bride and Grooms first names.  Booklets are great invites as they combine style with a large amount of information for your guests and rsvps can be included within.
