New bespoke wedding stationery collection

Today’s blog post is about our newest wedding stationery collection.  There was first look at it before Christmas (see here) but I’m now happy to announce this new collection is fully up on our website Artemis Stationery.  I was pondering what to call it.  Many of our collections have city names, mostly Italian.  It was ranges like Trieste that made this scheme seem a good idea as I don’t know quite how a name could sum it up well and sound elegant.  With our newest collection things are a lot simpler as there are three stars to this collection.  The most obvious being the pair of Love birds, then the heart behind them and the wooden textures.  So the name for the collection is Love Birds, which I figure this name covers the birds and the heart so it’s one of those rare occasions where the name is both appropriate and descriptive.

As with all our bespoke stationery collections colours and fonts are not set in stone.  What you see in these images are just examples, any colour that can be printed can be used.  Similarly with fonts, we have hundreds to choose from on our website and can always look for more.  See fonts or colour choices on website from the bespoke section of the main menu.

Rustic, Vintage and Contemporary

This means that Love Birds can fit with numerous styles.  The wood textures I think lend itself to a rustic look.  I think it can have a very modern look or at least uses modern or contemporary styles of design.  Vintage fonts and faded colours could turn that on its head though, maybe for a contemporary take on vintage wedding stationery!

‘Love Birds’

The birds are not intended to be the actual species of birds that are called Love Birds.  We do have another range though Sassari where these little parrots are the ones used.  You can see Sassari here.  Instead these Love birds are meant to be more typical looking birds to play on the phrase ‘a pair of love birds’.  This is always a classic theme for stationery and weddings and can help if you’re fancying having a vintage bird cage as part of the décor of your wedding.
