The following are suggestions on how you can word an evening invitation if the invitation is coming from the Bride and Groom.  This is normally the case when the Bride and Groom are paying for most of the wedding their selves or when family politics such as a divorce means mentioning the parents is best avoided for fear of upsetting anyone or where both sets of parents are contributing along with the Bride and Groom.
There is a mixture of formal and less formal wordings for the invite and I would recommend that if you want a less formal sounding invite to phrase things that sound right for you as it is your day and celebration and should reflect yourselves.
If an rsvp is being enclosed it may not be necessary to mention the rsvp section as those details may be on the separate RSVP.
Please note, although you can use any wording you want on the front of an evening wedding invitation many people choose ‘Evening Invitation’
